About Cape Cod

Cape Cod is located in Eastern Massachusetts, about an hour drive from the city of Boston. The Cape is comprised of 15 towns: Bourne, Falmouth, Mashpee, Sandwich, Barnstable, Yarmouth, Dennis, Harwich, Brewster, Chatham, Orleans, Eastham, Wellfleet, Truro, and Provincetown, all of which collectively form the County of Barnstable. Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket, usually referred to as “The Islands,” are also accessible by ferry from Cape Cod. The beautiful beaches and unique character of the Cape make it a popular vacation spot, especially during the summer months, during which time the area’s population triples.
